About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our team at Celfocus. As a key member of our backend community, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead backend solutions design, development, and deployment.
  • Distribute and delegate tasks to other team members.
  • Assume a technical leadership role and work with Solution Architects to design backend solutions.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers within projects.
  • Be an active member of our backend community.
  • Contribute to Celfocus technical roadmap and innovation initiatives.
  • Work on proposals involving solutions and architecture.
  • Be a Celfocus reference and ambassador in tech conferences and summits.

Requirements

  • Java (7+ years of experience)
  • Spring Boot (5+ years of experience)
  • Kubernetes (2+ years of experience)
  • Experience with Microservices architecture
  • Proficiency in building REST APIs
  • Relevant industry experience and educational requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systems
  • Knowledge on TELCO industry BSS architectures is preferable.
