As the General Manager at ibis Porto Centro São Bento, you will be responsible for leading hotel operations to achieve exceptional results. Our hotel, situated in the heart of Porto, Portugal, boasts 77 modern rooms equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, and en-suite bathrooms. Its central location makes it ideal for exploring Porto's historic district and main tourist attractions.

Your Role

You will be accountable for:
1. Leading the hotel as the primary strategic business leader, prioritizing customer satisfaction and financial targets
2. Embodying the Ibis brand ethos and upholding the highest quality of service
3. Enhancing RevPar through effective management of diverse sales channels
4. Inspiring the team by exemplifying the Heartist spirit
5. Ensuring excellence in Accommodation & Catering offerings
6. Implementing and monitoring procedures to maintain high standards
7. Upholding labor relations, health, and safety regulations
8. Representing Accor and the hotel owner in all relevant matters

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have: • Proven experience in the hospitality industry
• Strong customer orientation, commitment, and emotional intelligence
• Credibility as a point of reference for hotel staff and stakeholders
• Solid managerial skills to unite the team around shared objectives, focusing on quality and financial goals
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus
