As an Associate Human Resources at Amgen, you will provide administrative support to the HR department, onboard new hires, manage invoices and payments, support payroll, contact with vendors and help maintain workplace compliance.
This role is responsible for managing HR administrative tasks such as contracts, amendments related to new hires, terminations, contract changes, and parental leave. You will also serve as a liaison between the HR team, payroll, and HR Connect for HR operations and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage designated HR administrative transactions in Workday
- Serve as a liaison between the HR team, payroll, and HR Connect
- Administer contracts and handle the creation and payments to external vendors
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws by reviewing employment contracts and local policies
- Support the administration of payroll and benefits
- Communicate HR processes and benefits to each employee
- Keep employee files up to date
- Provide information for internal and external audits upon request
- Support the Payroll & Benefits specialist
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes
- Respond to daily employee inquiries with a service-oriented attitude
