About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security and Risk Officer to join our team at Boost-IT. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring vulnerability management programs, analyzing threat intelligence, and ensuring compliance with information security and business continuity management regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and mitigate information security gaps through vulnerability management programs;
  • Analyze threat intelligence to identify and reduce potential risks;
  • Ensure compliance with information security and business continuity management regulations;
  • Support the definition of secure implementation requirements for information systems and ICT risk management frameworks;
  • Monitor and analyze user activities to identify suspicious behavior;
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of information security documents;
  • Classify the criticality of ICT and information assets and recommend improvements;
  • Conduct information security training and awareness actions for employees;
  • Advise on information security matters and notify management of potential risks and mitigation measures;
  • Monitor internal and external audits related to information security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Networks, or Computer Security;
  • Up to 3 years of experience in information security or network and information systems consulting;
  • Knowledge of ICT and security risk management;
  • Good understanding of information security principles;
  • Stays informed on international standards and regulations;
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate in a team;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken);
  • Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
  • Rigor and attention to detail.
