Job Title: Data Analytics Leader for Global Platform
This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive analytics strategy to drive data-driven decision-making across various departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for IT analytics in alignment with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, data engineers, and BI professionals.
- Align the needs across functional areas to maximize the value of the global platform and avoid duplication of effort.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to identify key analytics needs and opportunities.
- Design and implement data analytics solutions to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and IT.
- Drive the implementation of a data governance framework for the area.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support new AI initiatives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a high-performing analytics team.
- A strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data quality principles.
- Experience with modern data stack architecture and technologies.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, and PowerBI) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location: Ferring Service Center Portugal
