About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Experience Designer to join our team and shape our digital products' user experience. As a key member of our product team, you will collaborate closely with our user research team to inform design decisions for mobile and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Conduct and contribute to user research activities to gather insights that inform the design process.
  • Plan and execute design validation through usability testing, ensuring that user feedback is incorporated into the design iteration process.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for responsive web and native mobile applications.
  • Design and iterate on features for a B2B marketplace in order to power the next generation of jewellery businesses.
  • Deliver high-quality visual design assets and specifications for both mobile and web implementation.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on 2-sided digital platforms.
  • Proven experience conducting user research and using insights to drive design decisions.
  • Experience planning and conducting usability testing for design validation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with an emphasis on marketplace products.
  • Experience with luxury markets, Shopify or B2B marketplaces is a bonus.
  • Proficient in design and prototyping tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver components for and contribute to a design system.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
