As a Product Designer at Vml South Africa, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from developing innovative digital experiences to collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life.

About the Role:

  • This is a hybrid role that combines UX and UI design, with a focus on creating exceptional online experiences
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to create dynamic, immersive, rich experiences
  • Be instrumental in shaping the direction of solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UX/UI Leads, Content Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and Clients as part of the creative process
  • Investigate how existing products work or how services are used to input into solution feasibility
  • Utilize user research, data, and insights to drive design decisions
  • Create and execute solutions to solve user experience deficiencies and meet business needs
  • Design digital brand identities and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces showcasing attention to detail
  • Create design artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI elements
  • Clearly and persuasively present and communicate design concepts and solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating both UX and UI skills
  • Proven experience designing for web and mobile platforms, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards
