TN Portugal is seeking a skilled Global Category Buyer to contribute to the development of global category strategies for material field purchasing. As a key member of our commercial procurement department, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying potential risks, and optimizing supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute global category strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Formulate supplier management and development initiatives to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Conduct cost analysis and negotiations with suppliers to optimize pricing and terms.
- Oversee capacity management and contract administration to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Continuously analyze market trends and identify potential risks to maintain competitiveness.
What makes you a strong candidate:
Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with an engineering background.
Experience and Know-How:
- Proven analytical and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing international business relationships and suppliers.
Languages:
