**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at ACCA Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all finance and administration activities in the country.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management or similar, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in finance in a multinational company. In addition, they will have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and high knowledge of Portuguese and international standards in tax and status reporting, treasury, financial planning, controlling and analysis.

The role requires strong strategic and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and strategic profile with innovative and proactive approach.

The **Key Responsibilities** of this role include:

  • Lead all finance and administration activities in the country;
  • Manage the finance team;
  • Guarantee the reliability of the company's financial statements and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements, both internal and external;
  • Define and implement effective strategies to optimise costs and investments;
  • Ensure efficient use of the company's financial resources, providing detailed analyses to support management decision-making;
  • Oversee and continuously improve administrative processes within the organisation;

The **Ideal Candidate** will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management or similar;
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in finance in a multinational company;
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience;
  • High knowledge of Portuguese and international standards in tax and status reporting, treasury, financial planning, controlling and analysis;
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel;
  • Experience working with SAP (mandatory);
