About the Role
We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to our customers' network and UC infrastructures.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Remote Managed Service Support Level 1-3, providing initial incident response (level 1, 2 & 3), employing corrective actions, escalating issues where needed, and generating event reports.
- Supporting the field service organization during implementation within the framework of remote project support.
- Close coordination with the service coordinators to ensure alerts are properly registered in the ticketing system, responses are timely, and remediation statuses are communicated.
- Providing operational services for the systems operated by Damovo for its own use.
- Creation and maintenance of the technical documentation database related to the network and UC systems.
- Use of network monitoring solutions.
The Product Focus
Our product focus is on the UC/ICT portfolio of the manufacturer Cisco and the 3rd party applications used in the operating environment.
Experience and Skills We Value
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as a communications electronics technician or IT systems electronics technician, or a comparable qualification/professional experience.
- Basic knowledge of current network technologies with a focus on UC technologies.
- Experience in working with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English with good German skills (min. B1 level).
- Motivated to gain hands-on experience using novel technologies to manage complex systems.
