Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As an SRE, you will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and observability practices, ensuring our platform's stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the development of our monitoring strategy, define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and collaborate closely with product managers and engineering leads to mentor them on these practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing industry-leading monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Defining and maintaining SLOs/SLIs for key services and collaborating with engineering and product teams to manage incidents.
  • Mentoring Product Managers and Engineering Leads on SLO/SLI definition and optimization.
  • Collaborating with QA teams to integrate monitoring and observability practices into testing processes for early issue detection and prevention.
  • Implementing and managing Datadog for monitoring and other tools in the stack.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have mid-level to senior experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field, strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, and familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD processes. You should also be able to define and implement SLOs and SLIs for large-scale systems, possess strong incident management skills, and be passionate about improving system reliability and visibility.

Nice to Have
Previous experience in mentoring teams on best practices in observability and working in high-traffic customer-facing platforms is desirable.
