Localization QA Specialist

About the RoleAs a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be part of our Localization Quality Assurance team, working on a range of yet-to-be-released games for various platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and quality of localized content, collaborating with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to ensure the accuracy and quality of localized content.
- Identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of games for various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and mobile and tablet devices. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in Portugal.
