We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IC Design Engineer to join our team at Monolithic Power Systems in Europe. This is a full-time on-site position, with no remote work option available.
Responsibilities:- Design and implementation of physical digital design, including all aspects of chip development, power management, and mixed-signal ICs.
- Participate in establishing physical design methodologies and flow automation.
- Work closely with the design team to implement digital/analog designs and custom analog blocks/interface/IPs.
- Develop an automated environment for RTL-to-PNR using high-level languages and DevOps-like services.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years of Physical Digital Design experience, preferably 2+ years in ASIC design, verification, or related work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong teamwork collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions according to design specifications, and execute tasks to hit milestones with quality.
- Strong knowledge of ASIC development process and digital design techniques, including Verilog/System Verilog coding, synthesis, LEC, CTS, DFT, RC extraction, and STA closure.
- Experience with industry-standard tools, such as Cadence (preferred) or Synopsys, and expertise in hierarchical STA for chip top designs.
- Desirable skills include statistical STA, AOCV, SI and noise analysis, knowledge of power management industry/applications, and advanced DFT techniques.
