This DevOps Engineer position requires an individual with at least 5 years of experience in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of containerization concepts and orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes.
The Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, automated solutions to empower our real-time, life-saving ecosystem. Build self-service platforms, optimize developer workflows, and ensure a robust CI/CD pipeline to streamline product delivery and enhance reliability.
Work closely with development teams to create automated systems that scale with our AWS cloud infrastructure, improve security posture, and elevate our SLA standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Focusing on automation and reducing operational overhead.
- Empowering developers rather than simply maintaining infrastructure.
- Developing a forward-looking approach, focusing on researching and integrating automation solutions.
- Collaborating with a DevOps team to define and implement the AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes platform strategy, HA/DR, including architecture, design, roadmaps, and enabling various apps to adopt such technologies.
- Working in a collaborative culture with Dev and App owners.
- Resolving JIRA tickets in the areas of Cloud, CICD, deployments, monitoring, etc.
- Challenging the status quo to bring new ideas and innovation to the team.
- Maintaining and supporting internal tools, improving system health and reliability.
- Providing cross-training to peers for projects and products worked on.
- Maintaining service uptimes to meet SLA-driven uptime requirements.
