Lead Technical Innovations at Critical TechWorks

We're seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our technical innovations. As an IT Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive technical plans that align with the company's vision and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing Technical Plans: Craft high-level technical strategies that anticipate future trends and create synergies across various technology domains.
  • Engineering Delivery Principles: Promote and ensure adherence to our engineering delivery and operational principles across all product teams.
  • Hands-on Expertise: Dive into coding when necessary, supporting teams with your expertise and ensuring you're the last to leave the ship in challenging times.
  • Principle Refinement: Continuously refine our engineering principles, promoting excellence and adapting to evolving needs.
  • Technological Foresight: Provide foresight into technological advancements, steering the company's tech strategy and fostering innovation.

In this role, you will work closely with diverse teams, promoting an environment of learning and growth, driving towards superior products and user satisfaction.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Drive Agile Adoption: Embrace agile and its implementation frameworks, such as Scrum, to make the most out of all its events and work to keep evolving a high-performing team.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with teams to promote an environment of learning and growth, driving towards superior products and user satisfaction.
  • Standard Software Engineering Tools: Utilize standard software engineering practices and tools, like version control, IDEs, data dashboards, to manage and keep a systematic and organized development process.
  • DevOps Best Practices: Implement state-of-the-art DevOps quality practices and tools, such as Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to build, analyze, perform automated testing and deployment processes, ensuring a streamlined and reliable development workflow.
  • International Travel: Be available to travel abroad for short periods, as required to support all phases of the product development cycle.
  • Linguistic Skills: Possess excellent English oral and written skills; German communication skills are a plus.
