Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Tower Component Development Lead. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of tower components and ensuring that all projects meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Tower Component Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for tower components, adhering to phase gate concept and product development process (PDP).
- Quality Assurance: Provide input to the team on unclear or missing requirements and evaluate documents to ensure flawless launches at supplier locations.
- Process Improvement: Adapt the defined PDP and phase gate concept while working on component development, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Risk Management: Follow maturity risk assessment evaluation processes/procedures and adhere to the quality swim lane of PDP along with internal interfaces (Design Excellence and Quality team).
- Educational Background: Bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar field.
- Professional Experience: 8-10 years of experience in tower component development and problem-solving methodologies.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of methodologies such as 8D/CAPA, RCA, Ishikawa, why-why, and 5Why.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel.
