**Mission-Critical Systems Developer Wanted**

We're looking for a skilled Java Fullstack Software Developer to join our team at Decskill. As a leading IT consulting company, we deliver value through knowledge and empower businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions.

We operate in three key areas: DECSKILL TALENT, which extends clients' IT teams; DECSKILL BOOST, offering software development methodologies to enhance capacity and expedite time-to-market; and DECSKILL CONNECT, providing consulting services and implementing and managing IT infrastructures.

We aim to create value for our customers through skilled professionals and innovative technology solutions that facilitate business transformation. The ideal candidate will contribute to the success of our mission by developing high-performance Java Backend applications with low latency and high volume for critical systems.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-volume and low-latency Java/Backend applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Deliver high availability and performance.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
  • Evaluate designs against specifications.
  • Pursue active participation in backend communities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education/proven expertise.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on the backend.
  • 1+ years experience as a full stack developer in creating user interfaces.
  • 1+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Git or Maven.
  • 2+ years experience with database systems, including SQL and/or NoSQL.
  • 3+ years experience in developing OOP software and applying OOP patterns.
  • Experience working in international teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in microservice architecture development.
  • English Level B2 required, German language proficiency is an asset.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Continuous learning-oriented mindset.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality software.
  • A collaborative mindset, Design Thinking, and agile development.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English (German is an asset).
