Job Overview

We are looking for motivated developers with experience in SQL to join our teams in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining queries, stored procedures and SQL scripts, creating and managing relational databases, ensuring data efficiency and security, designing and implementing data models to meet business needs, working closely with data analysts, engineers and developers to optimize query performance, creating and maintaining technical documentation related to SQL databases and processes, and monitoring and solving problems related to database performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Development: Develop, optimize and maintain queries, stored procedures and SQL scripts to ensure efficient and secure database operations.
  • Database Administration: Create and manage relational databases, ensuring data efficiency and security, and design and implement data models to meet business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, engineers and developers to optimize query performance, create and maintain technical documentation related to SQL databases and processes, and monitor and solve problems related to database performance.
Requirements
  • Mastery of SQL (CRUD, data models, transactionality, tuning) and multidimensional modeling concepts.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and assertively, both orally and in writing.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of TDD/BDD and Continuous Delivery.
  • Experience working with scrum methodology.
