Job Overview

Sovos is a leading provider of tax compliance solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our clients' tax compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Validate client data using in-house software and confirm tax amounts due to clients
* Create accurate tax returns and associated supporting documentation for clients
* Ensure all data is accurate and returns submitted within strict deadlines
* Interact directly with Sovos clients on a regular basis as part of service delivery and issue resolution
* Identify, prioritize, and resolve client issues; coordinate appropriate internal departments to provide timely response and solutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
* 1+ years of client service-related work experience
* Excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner
* Excellent time management, decision making, and organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
* Ability to work as a member of a team and cross-functionally
