About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization in the industry, driving data governance excellence and contributing to the success of our business.

Job Description:

  • Build and Share KPIs: Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data tagging in GWS, supporting data offices and providing visibility into performance metrics.
  • Visual Presentations and Dashboards: Create engaging visual presentations and dashboards to showcase KPI progress per data office, shared during regular SDGC meetings.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze relevant data to construct KPIs, ensuring accuracy and reliability of reporting.
  • Automation and Integration: Automate dashboard monitoring using Qlik and integrate data collection from various sources, including Google Workspace and JIRA.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Upload and update documents on the G-site, coordinate JIRA for data assessments, and prepare reporting for stakeholders.
  • Awareness Sessions and Training: Conduct awareness sessions on specific topics based on existing material, providing training and support to users.
  • Business and Data Object Identification: Gather and assess business and data objects identified, consolidating information and evaluating overlaps.
  • User Support and Workshop Preparation: Provide support to users, preparing workshops on data governance methods, processes, and tools with data officers.
  • Process Automation and Translation: Translate process into actionable tasks for automation, focusing on dashboard collaboration tools, Google Workspace, and data collection.

Requirements:

  • Data Governance Principles: Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with ability to gather and analyze data effectively.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Google Looker, and AppScript, as well as experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Communication and Project Management: Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
