The Perfect Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Captain to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the set-up and service of functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of function setup, including room layout, server preparation, and update of banquet sheets in the kitchen.
  • Supervise the service of assigned functions, guaranteeing staff adherence to all service standards.
  • Meet with individual hosts, providing them with your contact information and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Properly close all banquet checks and complete the Captain's log book after each function.
  • Clean up of functions, ensuring proper removal and storage of hotel linen and skirting.
  • Reporting incidents to the Banquet Manager.
  • Oversee the proper clean-up, handling, and storage of props and specialty china.
  • Assist the Banquet Manager in annual performance evaluations of banquet servers.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • Ensure the proper care, security, and maintenance of hotel equipment through supervision of service personnel.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Four Seasons' standards of quality service by monitoring staff appearance, attitude, and professionalism.
