TN Portugal seeks to recruit a talented individual to fill the role of Junior IP Engineer for an international project. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of network data centre IP nodes that integrate with the rest of the country's network.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing High-Level and Low-Level Designs for existing and new infrastructure;
  • Participating in local demand management forums to analyse and prioritise connectivity requests and services integration;
  • Managing internal customers and equipment vendors for the implementation of the network and design connectivity;
  • Interfacing with Operations teams to define, plan and schedule network activities;
  • Contributing to the definition and maintenance of the IP Evolution Plan by identifying issues not solvable with the current IP architecture and proposing potential solutions;

Requirements and Qualifications

  • An academic degree and/or at least 1-3 years of work experience in a Telecom / IT organisation on IP network infrastructures;
  • Knowledge of IP network design and architecture;
  • Experience with some of the following network nodes and vendors: Router/Switches (Cisco), Firewalls (Fortinet) and Load-balancers (F5);
  • Fluent in English oral and written.
