Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for enabling customers to achieve their business outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead virtual teams around technologies and customer/partner challenges by sharing ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft.
  • Organize or present at internal events (e.g., Ready, Build, Ignite) and demonstrate deep industry knowledge and drive recognition for Microsoft solutions through presentations and engagements with external audiences.
  • Connect gaps and patterns across business and technology areas, and drive changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and/or processes that enable solutions to scale across customers/partner.
  • Develop and contribute to the company stock of structured frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proactively identify gaps through delivery, communicating those gaps to others (e.g., Leadership, managed intellectual property [MIP], Design, and Governance), and leveraging business experience to prioritize efforts.
  • Drive strategy for new IP and collaborate with MIP, Design, and Governance to improve existing IP.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, working with executives and managing various stakeholders (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Portuguese as you will be assigned to the Portuguese Customer Market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects.
  • Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects and the ability to influence and build relationships across technical and business teams.
  • Deep domain knowledge in Data Center Migration, PaaS, virtualization and VMware, Networking, identity management, Security, Storage, BCDR, Resiliency, Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), automation, Hybrid and Arc.
  • Experience creating cloud adoption framework that leads to a successful customer production deployment.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
  • Experience with Azure technologies and services such as Azure migrate, containers, Apps and data cross solutions with infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of SRE, SDLC, DevOps and GitHub.
