Technical Support Specialist for Identity Management

As a Technical Support Specialist for Identity Management at Microsoft, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and support. With our Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, we are looking for individuals with a passion for driving customer success.
The ideal candidate will own, investigate, and resolve complex customer technical issues, acting as an advisor to the customer while collaborating within and across teams. This includes leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices to provide timely and effective solutions.
You will also have the opportunity to lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring of others. Additionally, you will deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues through training and readiness.
This role is flexible, allowing you to work up to 50% from home. We are seeking someone with a good understanding of two or more of the following technologies:
- Azure Resource Management: Subscriptions / Licenses, Role Based Access Control, User / Administrator Roles
- Azure Active Directory Collaboration Solutions (B2B, B2C)
- Managed Identity (Password Hash Sync / Pass Through Authentication) vs Federated Identity
- Hybrid Identity Solutions
Preferred qualifications include competencies and experience with some of the below technologies:
- Active Directory Federation Services (or any other 3rd party federation)
- Privileged Identity Management
- Provisioning to SaaS Applications
- PowerShell scripting and commands
Language proficiency in either German, French, Spanish, or Italian is required, as you will be assigned to their respective customer market. Ability to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check, is also necessary for this role.
