Randstad Professional, the business line of Randstad Group focused on Middle&Top Management Recruitment, is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join their team as a Senior Finance Leader - Renewable Energy. This role will be part of the Consolidation & Reporting global team, based in Lisbon.

About the Role

">

We are looking for an experienced finance leader with a strong background in financial reporting and control within a multinational context. As a Senior Finance Leader - Renewable Energy, you will report directly to the Consolidation Director and work closely with the CFO of one of the companies of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Supervise finance managers across regions and manage external accounting providers to ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting.">
  • Manage financial reporting timelines to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.">
  • Collaborate with the Consolidation Director to enhance reporting processes and integrate renewable energy-specific metrics.">
  • Lead and mentor finance managers across several countries to ensure alignment with corporate financial objectives.">
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within finance teams.">
  • Oversee performance evaluations and provide development opportunities for regional finance teams.">
  • Oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of the finance function, focusing on renewable energy project dynamics.">
  • Implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with international financial standards.">
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancements within finance operations.">
  • Manage relationships with external accounting service providers to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.">
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of external providers, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.">
  • Manage contracts with external service providers, including negotiation and renewal processes.">
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external providers to foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.">
  • Ensure adherence to international and local regulatory standards, tax laws, and renewable energy-specific financial regulations.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.">
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, including roles in financial reporting and control within a multinational context.">
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector or infrastructure-related finance (plus).">
  • Proven track record of managing multi-country finance teams and working with external accounting providers.">
  • Strong understanding of international accounting standards.">
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.">
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple providers and tasks simultaneously.">
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.">
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.">
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex reporting requirements.">
  • Willingness to travel as required.">
