Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced VP of Hardware Engineering to lead our hardware engineering team and drive technological excellence at Bloq. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring, and growing the hardware engineering team to deliver high-quality and innovative hardware solutions.
- Developing and executing strategies to meet hardware development goals and support business growth.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions.
- Driving technical innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies and trends in hardware design and manufacturing.
- Ensuring the hardware engineering team follows best practices, development standards, and compliance requirements.
- Providing technical leadership to solve complex hardware engineering challenges.
- Contributing to the overall business strategy and product roadmap as a key member of the leadership team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Vast experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large hardware engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex hardware products from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of hardware development processes, methodologies, tools, manufacturing processes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Experience in the smart locker or logistics industry is a plus.
