**About the Role**
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our central data platform team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a modern data architecture for our company. This involves building and running the data platform infrastructure and operations, creating guidelines and blueprints for modern cloud data warehousing tools, and operating and enhancing environments around Cloud Data Warehousing.
**Responsibilities**
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining guidelines, operation and blueprints for modern cloud data warehousing tools;
- Operating and enhancing the environments around Cloud Data Warehousing;
- Creating materials to up-skill teams and define good practices on operations for those platforms;
- Continuously refining our technology landscape by evaluating new tools and technologies;
- Creating solutions to manage and operate our cloud warehousing tooling.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with big data architectures in enterprise settings, as well as with corresponding systems and tools. Experience working on platform teams or in platform engineering is a plus. Advanced experience with data pipelines involving relational databases in distributed environments, as well as hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (optimally AWS), is also required. A collaborative attitude, ability to build solutions without reinventing the wheel, and experience working in international teams are highly valued.
