Wind Turbine Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind farms. Your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance tasks on assigned wind turbines, following safety protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Vestas health and safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on wind turbines.
- Maintain Vestas wind turbines at customer wind farms throughout the region.
- Monitor WTG performance and report turbine conditions and collect turbine data for research analysis.
- Liaise professionally and effectively with customers where needed.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in Electric or Mechanic or a technical education in Electrical/Mechanical.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar position.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand basic drawings and schematics.
- The ability to work at heights and in growing weather conditions.
- Good IT skills in Microsoft Office, as well as software skills for data collection and reporting.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English and native Portuguese speaker.
- Valid Driver's License.
