The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our CARE team in Portugal. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern web applications using microservices architecture. Your work will focus on generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and API integrations.
Your Impact- You will define the architecture of systems and integrations, bringing innovation to the table and ensuring design documents are up-to-date.
- You will support existing systems, enhance functionality, and transform to meet product demands.
- You will ensure successful deliveries and promote the long-term technical health of our journeys.
You will write maintainable code and tests, participate in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment, help and mentor other developers, and ensure quality code using best practices such as code review and pair programming.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience. You must have experience in designing and developing modern web applications, with proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Golang, Typescript, etc.). Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8s) experience is also required.
You should be open to new experiences, willing to learn and grow, and have strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
