Job Overview:

As a Machine Learning Software Engineer, you will be part of a multicultural environment and work with domain experts, data scientists, and AI specialists to accelerate machine learning and artificial intelligence into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop machine learning systems, considering all aspects of the machine learning product lifecycle, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and validation.
  • Support architecture discussions on the integration of AI and ML in existing IM applications.
  • Deploy and maintain both software and machine learning systems in multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Help define software engineering and MLOps best practices to be adopted across the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in a STEM subject.
  • Experience in one or more programming and/or scripting languages, such as Python, Node.js, Java, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
  • An understanding of software design and architecture.
  • An understanding of statistics and machine learning, including deep learning, convolutional neural networks, and generative AI.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • An understanding or experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with agile development principles.
  • An understanding of MLOps and the machine learning product life cycle.
  • Familiarity with developing software or infrastructure for scalable systems.
  • Prior experience with optimizing machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating machine learning solutions, leveraging specific machine learning architectures.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
