Job Requirements:
We are seeking Histology Technologists to join our team and contribute to our mission by executing the following activities:
- Planning, implementing, and controlling multiple stages of analysis and treatment of biological tissues for histology
- Applied histology in human, organoid, and animal models (e.g., Danio rerio, Drosophila melanogaster, Mus musculus)
- Planning, implementing, and controlling complementary techniques such as histochemistry and immunohistochemistry
- Sample preparation for paraffin embedding, cryo-microtomy, vibratome sectioning, and related methods
- Providing user training in paraffin techniques, cryo-microtomy, vibratome sectioning, immunohistochemistry, and complementary techniques
- Collecting samples for DNA/RNA extraction using both kit-based methods and spatial transcriptomic
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with the following qualifications:
- BSc and/or MSc degree in Pathological Anatomy, Cytology and Thanatology, or Laboratory Biomedical Sciences
- Strong interest in advancing skills in histology and molecular biology techniques
- Good oral and written English skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic research environment
