We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) Specialist to join our team at PTW. As an LQA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized content for our games.
About the Role
You will work closely with our project teams to identify and correct errors in translated text, images, and user interface elements. Your attention to detail and language skills will ensure that our games are free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into the target language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global project teams to ensure high-quality localization.
- Identify and correct language errors, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and cultural inconsistencies.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad-hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Requirements
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
- No experience required; we'll provide training and support.
- Cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
- Robby Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Right to Work in Portugal.
