Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with software quality assurance teams to develop and execute test plans.
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test scripts, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Use bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, or Quality Center.
- Log defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps.
- Maintain a meticulous attention to detail to identify even the smallest discrepancies and bugs in the software.
- Analyze and interpret requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Diagnose issues and determine root causes.
- Think critically and creatively to anticipate potential issues and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role within software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Knowledge of various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks based on project requirements.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
