We are building a cutting-edge team at Nordea Asset Management, focused on delivering high-quality data solutions to our leading European Investments unit.
As part of this team, you will work closely with Quant Developers and Analysts in Copenhagen to develop and maintain our core platform for data flows, mathematical models, and AI solutions.
Job OverviewThis role is primarily focused on core platform development, maintenance, and support. You will be tasked with understanding our current codebase and taking part in future improvements and new developments within it.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and support data and model pipelines for internal use and investment boutiques.
- Ongoing monitoring, support, and incident management of all flows.
- Taking a proactive role in improving stability and performance of our offerings.
- Help the value stream take over and modernize existing data and model flows.
We utilize a robust tech stack consisting of:
- Python as the primary language for development of a core model framework, APIs, CLIs, distributed computing, etc.
- Kubernetes
- Apache Airflow
- Atlassian DevOps tools
- Jenkins
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are excited about learning and applying new technologies, and proactively stay on top of relevant developments within the field. You take pride in delivering solutions that not only solve the problem at hand, but are also scalable and long-term maintainable.
We expect you to have a keen interest in investing and financial markets, and be curious about the business side of things.
Requirements- A Master degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related software engineering background.
- Significant practical experience with Python as a language for core development.
- Experience with design and development of data and model pipelines.
- Previous experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly within the Atlassian DevOps suite, and scheduling via Airflow are an advantage.
We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
