This role involves translating video game content into Polish from English while adhering to product-specific guidelines for maximum linguist quality and adherence to conventions.

You will be part of a team of language specialists responsible for producing high-quality translations by either translating or reviewing documentation.

  • Create or assist in creating glossaries and style guides following client-defined guidelines.
  • Develop or aid in developing characterization documents.
  • Conduct translation work following provided guidelines and instructions, including First Party terminology.
  • Perform revision work following provided guidelines and instructions, including First Party terminology.
  • Collaborate with a larger team of translators or revisers.
  • Provide linguistic feedback for external work.
  • Meet outlined deadlines and industry-standard productivity figures.
Requirements
  • Native-level fluency in both Polish and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of Polish culture.
  • Prior experience in the translation industry or working professionally as a translator is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with business software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, memoQ, Plunet) is beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and a proactive approach.
  • Good organization and problem-solving skills, along with a 'can-do' attitude and positive thinking.
  • The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and maintain focus.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Sound research and translation judgment skills, along with self-motivation, adaptability, and professionalism.
