We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant to join our team at Cloud Cover Llc. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our Azure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize our Azure cloud environments to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage best security practices for Azure environments to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize the costs of Azure service usage to minimize expenses.
  • Configure and manage monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for cloud incidents and collaborate with development and operations teams.
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Azure Resource Manager, Templates, Terraform, and PowerShell.
  • Train internal teams on cloud best practices and ensure knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements:

  • More than 2 years of experience managing cloud infrastructures.
  • Knowledge in core Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Server Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), Azure Active Directory, and access management policies.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and scripting (PowerShell or Python).
  • Skills in Infrastructure as Code using tools (Terraform, ARM Templates).
  • Monitoring and management tools (Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana or Splunk).
