We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a senior researcher. As part of this role, you will be working on a funded project by the EU H2020 Project RELOCAL "Resituating the Local in Cohesion and Territorial Development" (www.relocal.eu). The project aims to explore the regional impacts of national or global processes of economic and social change.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of scholars interested in regional science, including members of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI), founded in 1954. RSAI is an international community that has been advancing knowledge and understanding of regional development for over 60 years.
To be considered for this position, you should have a strong background in regional science and a Ph.D. in a relevant field. You should also have excellent research skills, a track record of publishing in top-tier journals, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In addition to your research expertise, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues, presenting your research findings, and contributing to the overall success of the project.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €35,000-€40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a generous benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Please note that this is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a standard 35-hour week. You will also be expected to contribute to the department's administrative tasks, such as teaching and committee work.
