About Norfin
Norfin is a leading Real Estate Investment Manager founded in 1999, with over €2.1bn of assets under management in funds, SICs, or SPVs, across various profiles and strategies in real estate and connected sectors for institutional investors.
In 2018, Norfin was acquired by Arrow Global, a pan-European alternative asset manager focusing on credit and real estate, with over €5.3bn of funds under management. Arrow Global was incorporated in 2005 and has recently been acquired by TDR Capital, a European private equity firm.
The Asset Management department at Norfin is responsible for managing c. €2.1bn of real estate assets, implementing underwritten business plans, and maximizing investor returns. The selected candidate will work within the management team to ensure the successful implementation of strategic decisions, adherence to budgetary and schedule constraints, and the overall execution of the business plan.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a team managing three residential developments, ranging from branded residences to high-end luxury units in prime locations. The candidate's specific role will be in the financial side of management, including:
- Participating in the management of assets across various areas (development, legal, marketing, commercial, financial) in coordination with in-house teams, 3rd party service providers, and external partners.
- Participating in financial modelling, assumption review, and board/investor memorandums to assist in management decisions and strategic reviews.
- Keeping financial models up to date based on the latest financial information and perspectives (sales, capex, operations, debt, etc.) and tracking budget execution.
- Participating in the production of investor reports and assisting investors with information requests related to financial matters.
- Tracking and anticipating investment capital needs, preparing capital calls, and capital distributions.
- Assisting with matters related to existing financings and securing new financings.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Undergraduate and/or master's degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in real estate investment or asset management, strategic, management, or financial consulting, corporate finance positions, or similar fields.
- Relevant financial modelling skills and real estate or hospitality knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking (especially regarding data, assumptions, and strategy).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
- A high degree of attention to detail and a willingness to constantly learn and evolve.
- Collaborative and open attitude, contributing to a positive culture.
What We Offer
The role is a Lisbon-based hybrid position, with 3 days per week in the office expected.
