**Job Overview**
Gba Logistics Gmbh is a leading family-owned logistics company targeting the top end of the logistics value-chain.
We are in the top 50 Logistics Companies with an annual turnover in excess of £75m. With a base in 5 European countries, we are looking for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to play a major role in our Freight Services team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent data analysing skills and fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
- Ensure all shipments are registered and allocated with the correct driver/vehicle details on the TMS system.
- Ensure accurate allocation of subcontractor's details to meet our targets.
- Maintain effective communication with subcontractors to confirm their understanding of the job details.
The successful candidate will be proactive, anticipating when and where problems may occur.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Ensure all shipments are registered and allocated with the correct driver/vehicle details on the TMS system.
• Ensure accurate allocation of subcontractor's details to meet our targets.
• Maintain effective communication with subcontractors to confirm their understanding of the job details.
• Provide regular updates to customers in line with operational procedures.
• Ensure that Operations Managers/Coordinators/Sales are promptly informed of any delays or issues.
• Address and resolve any client concerns or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Other general administrative tasks including data input.
