About this opportunity
A Cost Manager is required to oversee the financial aspects of data center construction projects. This role involves managing costs, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Unit Directors to achieve business objectives.
- Deliver high-quality services and meet customer requirements for cost management.
- Manage projects, ensuring high-quality services and deliverables align with business procedures.
- Develop and present cost estimates and option studies.
- Conduct cost planning and cost-in-use studies.
- Advise on and implement procurement strategies.
- Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process.
- Evaluate and report on tenders.
- Value completed work and arrange for payments.
- Settle final accounts.
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Produce and present reports to customers.
- Identify new business development opportunities and drive growth across Business Units activities.
- Manage service delivery for profit.
- Inform Directors promptly of any issues that may arise or impact Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance.
