Job Description: As a DevOps Engineer for Blockchain Applications, you will be responsible for maintaining complex blockchain-related applications with a strong focus on security. You will set up and manage monitoring & alerting solutions across different Pyctor products, work closely with developers, and participate in product design and architecture. Your role requires a curious, self-starting, and analytical mindset, as well as the ability to quickly pick up new tasks and communicate progress with team members.
Your Profile: To excel in this position, you should have experience in maintaining micro-service oriented applications, hold a degree in IT or computer science, and be proficient in Bash and Python. Familiarity with UNIX operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD), bare metal infrastructure, cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services), IT security concepts, cryptography, networking, and communication protocols is also essential. Additionally, you should have experience with building CI/CD pipelines, containerization (docker, kubernetes), and monitoring & alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Strong communication skills and the ability to use git efficiently are also required. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
What We Offer: We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. The position is full-time (40 hours) and open to both Lisbon and remote applicants.
