We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow - Junior Consultant to join our team at Nova School of Business and Economics. As a member of the Data Science Knowledge Center, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of data-driven decision-making and its application in society.

Job Description

The Research Fellow - Junior Consultant will be responsible for supporting the growth of our Social Database platform, which aims to create a single and complete database of all Portuguese social impact organizations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Defining strategies to attract social impact organizations to the platform
  • Establishing partnerships with the social sector
  • Developing digital content and updating social networks
  • Auditing data collected and defining strategies to improve its quality

In addition, you will contribute to the development of new features on the platform, create initiatives to boost the community of organizations and partners, and prepare project documentation and reports.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as management sciences, computer science, or mathematics
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Portuguese
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization

You should also demonstrate a strong interest in social good and a willingness to dedicate time to the fellowship. The ideal candidate will have a background in data science, statistics, or a related field, and experience working with databases and data platforms.
