We're seeking a skilled Localization Specialist to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our localized games. Your primary focus will be on checking and verifying the correctness of translations, terminologies, and cultural nuances in our games.
About the Job- This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday.
- You'll work closely with our team to identify and resolve any issues related to language quality, terminology, and cultural consistency.
Candidates with a strong background in languages, linguistics, or translation studies, and a passion for the gaming industry are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough linguistic quality checks on translated content.
- Verifying terminology consistency across different game assets.
- Collaborating with our development team to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations.
- Identifying and reporting any errors or discrepancies in game data.
- Developing and maintaining style guides and glossaries for our localization efforts.
