We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Reporting Finance to join our team at Descompagnons Trabalho Temporário Lda. As a key member of our Consolidation & Reporting global team, you will be responsible for supervising finance managers across regions, managing external accounting providers, and ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Ensure and coordinate the timely preparation of accurate consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and aligned with the group's operations.
- Manage financial reporting timelines to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with the Consolidation Director to enhance reporting processes, including integrating renewable-specific metrics.
- Lead and mentor finance managers across several countries to ensure alignment with corporate financial objectives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within finance teams.
- Oversee performance evaluations and provide development opportunities for regional finance teams.
- Oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of the finance function, focusing on renewable energy project dynamics.
- Implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with international financial standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancements within finance operations.
- Manage relationships with external accounting service providers to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
