Job Title: Naval Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Engineer to join our team at SBM Offshore. As a key member of our Marine Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our offshore floating facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a 5-year inspection plan for hull compartments
  • Coordinate structural input and ensure alignment with classification society requirements
  • Prepare repair specifications and follow up on repairs
  • Maintain a register of typical repair procedures
  • Liaise with vendors and classification society to ensure optimization of inspection and repair specifications
Requirements:
  • Degree in Naval Engineering/Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in inspection of hull and specification of repairs
  • Familiarity with statutory requirements such as Marpol, Solas, and Classification Society requirements for FPSO's
  • Office package skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
