Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing both network and security infrastructures to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.">
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems.">
  • Oversee IT projects, such as infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.">

Network and Security Management:

  • ">
  • Manage, configure, and monitor Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama for centralized management.">
  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems.">
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.">

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • ">
  • Provide advanced technical support for IT infrastructure and security systems.">
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues.">
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party support for advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.">

Security and Compliance:

  • ">
  • Ensure IT infrastructure adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).">
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies.">
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.">

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with various departments to understand and address their IT and security needs.">
  • Communicate IT policies and security updates to the organization.">
  • Provide training and support to staff on IT infrastructure and security tools.">

Strategic IT Planning:

  • Assess current IT and security capabilities and recommend improvements.">
  • Develop and implement IT and security strategies aligned with business objectives.">
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT infrastructure and security.">

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

">

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, virtualization). Strong expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama. Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience with security tools and technologies (VPNs, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, etc.).

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security management. Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
