Fleet Operations Specialist

As a key member of the TN Portugal team, you will play a crucial role in executing regional processes and managing local depots in Central Europe. Your primary focus will be on executing daily operations to drive operational results in fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
You will have ownership of end-to-end processes related to these objectives, spanning from vehicle management, supplier procurement, and relationship management, stock management, contact with local operations to logistics. You will ensure that procedures are followed to provide high-quality fleet services to our customers.
Reporting directly to the Central Europe Regional Operations Director, you will coordinate your actions with fellow region colleagues and local operations to have a direct impact on results.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to the evolution of asset management-related procedures designed by central teams and their applicability to your region;
- Maximise fleet availability through effective execution of vehicle in-fleeting procedures, vehicle intervention management, and vehicle de-fleeting procedures;
- Guarantee that the local structure is stocked with required inventory to service the fleet according to established models and execute spare part purchases whenever necessary;
- Be knowledgeable about operated vehicles and assist local operations in required interventions for vehicles in your region;
- Coordinate actions between local teams and logistics companies to move the fleet according to business requirements;
- Develop the fleet network by procuring, negotiating, and managing relationships with workshops and fleet partners;
- Major contributor and responsible for vehicle operating costs in your region;
- Contribute to expansion projects in your region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Background in Transport Management, Mechanics, Engineering, or similar fields;
- Up to 2 years of experience in similar tasks;
- Prone to action, taking initiative to address operational needs and ensure smooth workflows. Experience in central coordination of fleet management, logistics, or a similar field is beneficial;
- Organised and analytical, using data to drive actions and effectively managing time to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Attention to detail, following detailed procedures, and ensuring precision in execution;
- Team player, willing to work closely with team members and local teams, contributing to overall objectives;
- Adaptable and resilient, adapting to unforeseen events to reach the end result;
- Good communicator, with clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners.
