We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Projects and Operations team as a Junior Engineer for Solar Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various tasks related to decentralized solar installation projects and Electric Mobility installation projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for financial and technical modeling of decentralized solar installation projects and Electric Mobility installation projects, analyzing decentralized solar and Electric Mobility installation sites, designing energy efficiency solutions, evaluating equipment and technical solutions, and assisting in project submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial and technical modeling of decentralized solar installation projects and Electric Mobility installation projects;
- Analysis of decentralized solar and Electric Mobility installation sites, evaluating their potential and technical requirements;
- Design of energy efficiency solutions to optimize and reduce customers' energy consumption;
- Evaluation of equipment and technical solutions for decentralized energy installations;
- Assisting in the submission of projects according to legal requirements;
- Helping to control the execution of installations, establishing communication channels within the team and with other areas of Greenvolt Comunidades and Service Providers;
- Participating in innovation or continuous improvement projects;
- Collaborating with the team on tasks of equal complexity and level of specialization.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environment, Mechanics, Civil or related fields;
- Knowledge of decentralized solar energy and Electric Mobility solutions, including regulations in Portugal and Europe;
- Familiarity with relevant technology for decentralized energy business (e.g., PV, inverters, batteries, meters, Electric Mobility);
- An analytical and structured approach;
- A proactive, focused personality with a 'make it happen' attitude;
- Agility and ability to act quickly in uncertain situations;
- Fluency in MS Office and MS Powerpoint;
- Knowledge of solar simulation software is an asset;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
