**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Engineering Officer to lead our data engineering team in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions using state-of-the-art tools. The successful candidate will advise on, design, develop, maintain, and optimize our Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solution, supporting cross-functional teams in achieving their goals.

**About the Role:

As our Chief Data Engineering Officer, you will:

  • Lead a team of experienced data engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable data infrastructure using AWS, Spark, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Automate reports and data pulls where necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.

**Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrable leadership experience.
  • Strong expertise in building data warehouses, analytics, and BI infrastructure from scratch.
  • Familiarity with AWS and knowledge of Spark, Java, Python, Linux shell scripting, and procedural programming languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL (NoSQL database experience is a plus).
  • Commitment to agile processes, code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.

**What We Offer:

We provide a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a competitive salary package, including an estimated **$140,000 - $170,000** annual base salary, depending on location and experience.
