Senior Localization QA Manager

About the Role
The Senior Localization QA Manager at PTW's Portugal studios is responsible for overseeing all Localization QA projects, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery. This role involves managing and nurturing a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators, fostering their professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of people development and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Localization QA projects delivered by PTW's Portugal studios, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and LQA Game Testers, fostering professional growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the global organization to align on goals, exceed client expectations, and drive project success.
- Establish and implement standardized processes based on industry best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all operations.
- Continuously evaluate project delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team performance.
- Manage staff allocation, workload distribution, and resource utilization to optimize team productivity and maintain profitability.
- Act as an advocate for linguistic quality, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence.
Requirements
Proven experience in an outsourcing environment such as customer support, gaming studios, localization, or related industries. Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and drive results. Strong analytical abilities, capable of making data-driven decisions and strategic assessments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
